We have been helping our clients to do business and manage their wealth for more than 200 years and we keep their interests foremost in our minds at all times. This combination of product strength, intellectual capital and character sets us apart as an industry leader. J.P. Morgan is part of J.P. Morgan Chase Co. (NYSE: JPM), a global financial services firm with assets of more than $2 trillion.

The Securitized Products Group is part of the Corporate Investment Bank within JPMorgan. The business is involved in the following activities:
• Acquires, originates, warehouses, and subsequently securitizes consumer and financial assets
• Provides market liquidity through secondary trading for a range of mortgage and asset-backed products
• Provides financing of consumer financial products
• Underwrites securitizations for third party customers
• Structures and trades in derivative products linked to securitized products
JPMorgan is a market leader across these areas and has been a key driver behind the ongoing developments in the marketplace over recent years. The continued rate of change means that FBM needs to continue to adapt to the changing business needs and provide innovative solutions to business problems while maintaining a strong control framework.

The regulatory changes that affect SPG are wide-ranging. Among the most important changes are the Capital/RWA rules that are continuing to evolve. Implementations of these rule changes are staggered over the next several years, and much of this falls within the FBM space. Additionally, there are numerous changes to Regulatory filings that the firm must produce. All regulatory filings must be produced in a tightly controlled environment. There is no tolerance for errors within these schedules, and FBM is therefore held to the highest standard for items that we are responsible for. Regulatory reports are filed to the OCC, FED, and Bank of England, to name a few. Most line of business reporting takes place within FBM, and much of it specifically within the External Reporting team.

The SPG External Reporting team, within Product Control, is looking for someone who will be responsible for Regulatory Reporting and RWA/Capital for the EMEA/AP Securitized Products business, as well as, the Investment Banking Portfolio desk. The ideal candidate will have a track record for working well in a tightly controlled environment, will understand fixed income products (preferably securitized products in particular), and will ideally have a background rooted in accounting.
