Department Description
GlobeClear is a very fast and consistently evolving business within ACCE providing global clearance and settlement services to banks and broker dealers through an extensive network of direct and indirect memberships to CCPs and securities depositories. The business is looking for a highly motivated individual to participate in and contribute to our aggressive business agenda as we expand our market leading position.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a driven, self-motivated, product manager, who will be part of the U.K. based product team with responsibility for delivering global products.
Autonomy and initiative taking are a pre-requisite and prior experience in product management or product development in financial services is desirable.
The individual will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, solutioning, remediating and implementing all product enhancements (new markets, trading venues, enhancements to product and technology infrastructure) including taking new products to the internal approval committee, managing the roll out, and initial monitoring of the product.
The role involves working in the EMEA product team, liaising closely with multiple internal business stakeholders and external vendors to execute on time and within budget. The individual will be responsible for representing the product team as subject matter expert on strategic and other technology projects.
The individual will contribute to global planning and strategic developments.
The specific duties in the role include:
- Review of new product and service requests and contribution to prioritization discussions in conjunction with stakeholders
- Analysis of problem/opportunity and creation of new product offering or change
- Participate in risk assessments of existing products; Ensure all risks are considered in the design, development, and roll out of new products
- Attend and sponsor the initiatives at the new Business Initiative Approval committees
- Manage implementation and roll out of projects
- Ensure development is executed flawlessly including client impact
- Work with technology partners and other stakeholders to ensure solid partnership around the product agenda
- Ensure product expertise and market expertise is maintained
