Cisco Systems Engineer Job in Rosemont 60018, Illinois Us
Skyline Advanced Technology Services, a Cisco Systems Gold Certified Value-added Reseller (VAR) and Cisco Learning Solutions Partner (CLSP) is looking for a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) to provide pre-sales support, implementation, and post-sales support in Chicago, IL and the surrounding areas. Skyline-ATS has developed a solid reputation for high-quality training, consulting and hardware sales, throughout the IT Industry. Our customer base includes Cisco Systems, numerous VARs, and many Fortune 500 corporations.
Working with our customers will require experience with Cisco routers and switches, Cisco wireless technologies and Cisco security products as well as a broad knowledge of the Cisco product line and available solutions. Data Center experience and/or Unified Communications experience is a plus.
PLEASE NOTE: Travel will be required.
The successful candidate for this position will have the following skills:
- Excellent customer relation skills.
- Proficiency at switching, routing a must.
- Experience with wireless technologies (WLC, WAPs, Bridges, WCS, etc.) a must.
- Competency and experience with security technologies such as: VPN, RADIUS/TACACS, PKI, Firewalls, Encryption - 3DES, AES, IPSec, SSL, etc. a must.
- Ability to provide an end-to-end designs for small to enterprise environments including IP architecture and configuration of equipment and proposed solutions a must.
- Competency and experience with IP technologies, general networking, Cisco IOS, CatOS, QoS, VoIP, WAN connectivity (PPP, Frame, ATM, etc.) a must.
- Troubleshooting experience with debug, sniffers, etc a must.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus, UCS, and VMware a plus.
- Experience with Cisco Unified Communications a plus.
