Volt Workforce Solutions is currently hiring for an engineering design firm seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and Professionally Licensed Civil Engineer to join their team. The Civil Engineer will use AutoCAD Civil 3D to construct project site virtually as well as inputting data from site surveys. The Civil Engineer will serve as the main Civil 3D modeling resource for the firm and will be critical in handling the first phase of each project which includes earth/dirt work (drainage systems, underground piping, etc).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- MUST HAVE an Active PE License in North Carolina
- Strong computer and AutoCAD skills; 3-5 years experience using the Civil 3D application is required
- Experience working on large, heavy scale commercial projects is strongly preferred (heavy industrial, light industrial)
- Previous dirt work/earth work experience (drainage systems, piping)
- Able to read vendor drawings and printed material accurately and thoroughly
- Able to recognize design interference and potential layout problems
- Able to fully check their own drawings
- Must have the ability to effectively interact with various levels of management within the organization
- Must have the ability to effectively interact with clients and vendors

Pay Rate: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00 Annual DOE
