Major Windfarm Project
$120k salary- accomodation and food provided- 4-6 month duration
3 hours West of Melbourne- 4 month contract
Civil works- pavements, kerbs, small roads, footings, earthworks
Our client is a major sub contractor on a multi million dollar wind farm in rural Victoria. The project itself is in total $10m for our client. Due to an increased workload a requirement has arisen for a civil site engineer to be based on this project.
The package of this project which requires this role is only around the $2m. It involves earthworks, entrance roads, pavements, kerbing, footings, and essentially overseeing the delivery of the civil works around the substation. Coordinating the other subcontractors will also be very important.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience in managing civil works. They will be experienced in managing and coordinating subcontractors, and working with medium sized crews of men.
The role will be based 3 hours West of Melbourne and therefore require them individual to stay on site. All men come home every weekend, with every 2nd weekend being a 3-day weekend. All accommodation and food will of course be provided. The project will last for 4-6 months with possibility of ongoing work.
