Job Description:
We are looking for a Claims Consultant to work in San Carlos. This is a contract position for 4 weeks possibly longer. Qualifying candidate must be able to pass a criminal bkrd check.
Assignment Description:
Directly oversees claim handling for complex accounts. Reviews all new claims on designated customers and establishes a plan of action to achieve favorable claim resolution. Consults with customers to understand their needs and goals. Provides status reports to customers and keeps Account Executives and Claims Manager informed. Advocates, consults and provides coverage advice to customers as appropriate. Investigates, evaluates and negotiates resolution of large and/or complex claims in accordance with company guidelines and best claims practices.
BS/BA and 5+ yrs experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
