Claims Handler
Our client a leading global insurance/ reinsurance brokers, is keen to recruit a Claims Handler with previous onsite Loss Adjusting experience to join their team in London.
The Claims Handler will be part of the Claims Team, and will be responsible for:
Manage your own caseload of time element cases which include business interruption, loss of revenue type losses.
Investigate liability ensuring indemnity is in order before making recommendations for settlement.
Occasional on site visits.
Manage cases from notification to settlement.
Participate in meeting with clients, insurers, loss adjusters and lawyers to discuss ongoing complex losses, making recommendations for settlement.
Manage compliance, Regulatory requirements and market issues.
The successful Claims Handler will have the following skills and experience:
Experience of loss adjusting
Strong 'time element' experience
Negotiation skills
Presentation skills
Desirable: Experience in onshore energy/power risks
