A leading Loss Adjuster are recruiting for an experienced insurance Claims Manager to run their branch based in the South East.

The Role

You will lead and manage a team of Adjusters, Claims Handlers and Administrators and will be responsible for the achievement of their performance targets and the branch's service level agreements. Strict targets will need to be met surrounding leakage, renewal retention and customer service standards. You will conduct internal audits to ensure all claims are handled correctly and all processes are completed within compliance guidelines. Monthly 121 and yearly appraisals will be conducted with all staff members to monitor performance and enable training and development plans to be formed/discussed. As a Senior member of staff, you will be the referral point for the team on technical queries and will also handle your own case load of complex claims that come into the branch.

The Benefits

Basic salary of up to £55,000 plus company car/allowance and excellent company benefits.

The Person

For your application to be considered you must have outstanding technical knowledge of Liability claims (including Employer's, Environmental and Construction). You will be a strong people manager and have excellent communication skills in order to motivate and lead a team. Chartered status would be preferred.
