With our recent growth, we are now looking for a number of Claims Officers for our Glen Waverley office. This role is part of QBE Travel Insurance team which offers a collegial atmosphere where our people support each other through the challenges of our environment and have the flexibility to work on a rotating shift.

The role:

The key focus of this process oriented role is to provide a high level of customer service,  to ensure a fair and accurate decision are made on claims in a timely manner and  provide expedient and professional claims service.

This is a permanent full-time position and our hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 6:00pm on a roster basis.

You:

As an experienced Claims Officer looking for your next challenge, you will have had at least 12 months claims processing experience, ideally in travel insurance. You have a proven work history of providing exceptional customer service, have exceptional interpersonal and negotiating skills strong organisational skills.

You will have excellent problem solving skills, with an ability to interpret policy wordings and understand and apply procedures and processes. Your excellent communication, problem solving, and computer literacy skills will add value to this role.  You pride yourself on your ability to balance providing a high level of customer service with effectively managing your workload, and your capacity to influence the actions and attitudes of others through your communication and negotiation skills.
