In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service for State Street clients.  You will be a virtual extension of the client providing proactive expert servicing and timely resolution of queries.  To do this you will provide your clients with ourlatest analytics tools, including timely and accurate information to help with investment transparency. You consult with your clients regularly to truly understand their business and needs. You provide solutions (not just outputs) to our clients and ensure their requirements are understood and prioritised within our group. You understand our business and use this to manage the client. You bring the investment analytics group together to create solutions for the client.

University degree qualified with a preference for Finance and Mathematics related degrees.  Post graduates and masters in Applied Finance preferred.  CIPM, CFA, FRM and CAIAcertifications arean advantage.

You have exceptional communication and numerate skills with an understanding of financial markets including complex financial instruments such as derivatives, fixed income securities and alternative investments. You understand investment analytics requirements and the nuances to produce meaningful results. You are a confident person who has solid organisation skills coupled with excellent verbal and written local client language capabilities. You enjoy interacting with clients and can demonstrate this with prior client service experience and proven presentation skills in a boardroom environment.

To be able to perform this role you will need to understand, articulate and train people on investment analytics including performance, attribution, investment compliance, entity exposure monitor, alternatives, trade cost analysis and risk.  You have around 4+ years investment analytics experience and can identify and articulate product gaps for your market and clients.  As a Client Consultant you will have the ability to provide in-depth analysis on the risk and return drivers for complex portfolios and investment structures. You can, troubleshoot problems independently and provide solutions back to clients under tight timeframes. You will demonstrate technical excellence by understanding fund objectives, mandate requirements and restrictions including the investment strategy for each of the clients under your responsibility. Keeping up to date with the markets your clients invest in, strong attention to detail, good time prioritisation and professionalism will be required at all times. You will manage client deliverables and billings to SLA's or service definitions.

You are good at building strong relationships and can deliver on client service excellence for your clients.  You must be a team player with a positive attitude and be able demonstrate enthusiasm to lead initiatives to deliver successful outcomes for our group.
