SP Capital IQ, a division of McGraw-Hill Financial (MHF), is currently searching for Sales Professionals to join our team, build an exciting career with us and support our growth trajectory. The Senior Client Development Associate (CDA) are primarily responsible managing an existing subscriber base to deliver a superior client experience, ensure client satisfaction with the platform and retain revenue. In addition, the CDA will work within a team environment responsible for supporting account growth, account maintenance and new business development.
Essential Accountabilities
- Developing an exceptional understanding of, and staying current on, the SP CIQ products and functionality and their application to specific clients.
- Demonstrating exceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and structured manner.
- Conducting product training for clients and developing relationships with end users of SP CIQ products; as well as cultivating references.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of cross asset financial concepts and principles such as financial statement analysis, credit and risk analysis, business valuation, asset valuation, cash flow, company reporting and stock selection.
- Partnering with the sales team to support and service multiple accounts; Prioritize, monitor and manage renewals; Generate new contract documents, process sales orders and coordinate renewal process with product management and finance.
- Managing internal and external tracking and reporting and analyzing client usage trends; developing and executing plans to maintain and/or grow client usage of SP CIQ products
- Addressing product related questions from clients by seeking solutions across appropriate internal groups.
- Incorporating personal and client feedback into product designs for future releases.
- Staying current on competitor offerings to identify the strengths and vulnerabilities of SP CIQ offerings in comparison.
- Collaborating effectively across teams as well as creating an atmosphere of trust and open communication.
Skills
Core Skills Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required
- At least 2 years of direct experience working in a related financial markets field preferred (Investment Banking analyst program or Financial Data sales program is preferred).
- Knowledge of the Fixed Income markets preferred.
- Strong communication, organization and presentation skills
- Strong personal integrity and a confident and positive manner
- Entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and sense of urgency
- Analytical capabilities, including financial modeling and valuation analysis
- Work effectively in a team-based environment as well as independently
