Principal Duties
- Create presentation materials and proposals in support of the firm’s business development efforts
- Prepare and design custom exhibits for presentations and proposals as needed
- Support follow-up efforts to ensure prospect movement through the business development pipeline
- Organize outreach events like investment seminars for clients and prospective clients
- Research, prepare and update information packs on potential clients
- Scan industry publications for developments in competitive landscape, clients and prospects
- Assist with the creation, production, and submission of Request for Proposal responses to prospective clients
- Document and maintain database of clients and prospective clients
- Assist consulting staff and senior management with marketing-related requests
- Participate in strategic/long-term efforts with direction and oversight of the Associate Director for Business Development
- Liaise with C|A’s Boston office for any of the above where relevant and necessary
Expectations
- Prior knowledge/ interest in learning about financial services and the investment consulting business
- Basic understanding of capital markets and key investment terms
- Understanding of the firm’s research reports, capital markets exhibits, and other firm publications
Qualifications:
- BA/ BS and 2-5 years of experience required
- Very strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Prior marketing and industry experience preferred
- Prior experience supporting prospecting efforts preferred
