Client Manager / Account Handler (Energy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Client Manager within Aon's Global Broking Centre - Energy Europe Team based in London.  The primary purpose of this role is to act as the contact for a dedicated client (or a portfolio of clients) to ensure client needs and expectations are met, including providing the client with access to all Aon Limited resources and products.  Lead, develop and improve the day to day client relationship and client experience and maintain and improve client satisfaction, retention, revenue and profitability.

As a Client Manager your key responsibilities will include:  
 
Preparing client plans and co-ordinate the overall end-to-end service delivery to agreed standards
Managing renewal, retention and growth of existing accounts with effective client relationships
Preparing tenders
Co-ordinating the overall renewal process and ongoing service needs
Individually initiating and closing new business opportunities from potential clients and Aon network and, where required, support the Client Director
Analysing clients' coverage needs, collect and analyse relevant information to identify risk transfer solutions
Providing advice to clients and colleagues on the scope of coverage available for different products to establish the appropriate product that meets the clients' coverage needs
Reviewing and quality checking insurance documentation at a pre-determined stage in the process to establish whether the selected product accurately reflects clients' coverage requirements
Ensuring a full technical and quality check has been completed on all work. Liaising with colleagues on any issues arising
Producing all (re)insurance documentation for negotiation and confirmation of coverage (does not include invoicing, closing or preparation of insurer policies but includes co-ordination of timely delivery of documentation to the client)
Establishing and maintaining risk placement files, ensure all risk information is accurate, complete and up-to- date and distribute information to appropriate individuals when required
Working with other professionals on an individual account or a portfolio of accounts to ensure that relevant information is shared among appropriate individuals and required actions are taken to meet clients' needs
Providing advice to clients and colleagues on market developments and share knowledge of market trends to enhance the overall value proposition
Assisting in the development of promotional materials and participate in trade shows, conferences, marketing and PR campaigns designed to enhance the image of products and services
Analysing, bespoke and manuscript wordings to develop Aon products with wordings, clauses and other constituent components (does not include market agreement of structured products)
Ensuring the appropriate staff are aware of all risks with warranties. Reviewing status ensuring warranties are met
Responsibility for compliance with regulatory requirements and business procedures (including usage of salesforce.com, GRIP, Ri3k/applicable trading platforms and application of Aon insurer security policies where relevant)
Adhering to the standards, procedures and best practices of Aon Limited to ensure FSA and other regulatory compliance
 
As a Client Manager your skills and qualifications will include:  
 
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
Chartered member of CII
Experience of preparing tenders
Ability to work well as part of a team
Experience of managing effective client relationships
Strong technical insurance knowledge
Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
Good understanding of compliance and FSA regulation
