Client On-Boarding Sector Head recruitment

The role is intended to operate with a strong commercial focus ensuring tight alignment to the objectives of the business, whilst enabling the right service to be delivered, at the right time, for the right price.

The Key accountabilities for the exciting and high profile role include:

Service Delivery - Responsible for delivery of the entire Client On Boarding service proposition across New Business, Due Diligence and Data Management on behalf of the Corporates business.  Work closely with senior business managers stakeholders and Onboarding Functional Heads to ensure that the service meets agreed Performance Level Agreements (PLA's).  Negotiates and agrees internal PLA's with Functional Heads to procure the appropriate services from Functional Production Groups.
Service Measurement, Management and Improvement - Collaborate closely with the Service Management Group to measure, manage and improve the service proposition across the business sector.  Ensure a strong focus on continuous improvement is followed to realise efficiencies and enhance the service proposition.
Cost Management - Ensure the service proposition is delivered in a commercially sensible cost framework.  Continue to seek opportunities to improve cost efficiencies whilst maintaining and improving service levels against agreed PLA's
Stakeholder / Relationship Management - Own and manage the interface to business sector stakeholders and relevant Global Market sales product teams.  The Sector Head will act as the point of aggregation for all service delivery issues and as such will be required to leverage and collaborate with the site functional managers to aid and facilitate this
Team Leadership - Lead a direct team of Client Managers and a virtual team of cross functional resources across Client Documentation, KYCS, Credit Services and Data Management to effectivly the deliver Client Onboarding services to agreed PLA's.  This leadership role will require close collaboration with Functional Heads who will own the performance management of the virtual team members.  Sector Heads will be responsible for the day to day direction of resources spanning both onshore and the Global Service Centres and, as such, will have a significant contribution to team / staff performance management.

QualificationsQualifications

 Experience 
Broad overall understanding of the full investment banking value chain and the context within which the onboarding team operates
Exceptional organisational, planning and management skills
Good commercial and financial management ability with a proven track record and experience in a shared service model
Good overall knowledge of the Client interface / onboarding and associated processes within an investment bank
A delivery-focused mindset. 
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain global and regional relationships at all levels of the organisation. 
Good business and operational experience – good candidates are likely to have strong relationship management or operational management skills
Strong client facing and leadership skills with the capability to develop the solutions driven, high energy characteristics necessary to support the needs of the Business and the new Sector Aligned operating model. 
Solid and broad experience of  working at a senior level with large multi-project and multi-stakeholder programmes in an international investment bank
A passion for excellence; both “doing he right thing” and “doing things right”
Able to build strong relationships with other functions and business units and to interface and influence senior managers in both the Client On-Boarding group and the businesses it supports 
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills both to individuals and  when presenting to large forums
