The Client Partner Executive position is a senior level client management and business development role with overall responsibility for managing the relationship between Edifecs and our strategic customers over the life of the relationship.
The CPE will be responsible for providing ongoing continuous relationship management with a limited set of Edifecs’ Strategic Accounts to (1) ensure that all customer needs are met with respect to the Edifecs suite of products and services, (2) develop a trusted advisor relationship with these customers and (3) perform liaison functions between the customers and the various business areas within Edifecs. The CPE will also be responsible for identification of specific upsell opportunities at these customers and support of the Edifecs Sales Account Managers in their pursuit. Success in this position will be measured by revenue growth and breadth of the Edifecs product presence within these accounts and by progress toward achievement of specific MBOs related to position goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and grow relationships within Edifecs Strategic Accounts at the business owner and C-Suite levels by demonstrating a thorough understanding of the customer’s business.
- Become a trusted advisor of assigned Edifecs customers to assist in those customers’ understanding of dynamic industry trends and requirements.
- Identify and qualify upsell opportunities in those customers to expand the Edifecs product footprint.
- Fully understand how Edifecs clients adopt and leverage Edifecs products in their day to day business to understand what business problems are being addressed and how our products integrate with the overall IT ecosystem at the customer.
- Gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of the value Edifecs products bring to our customers at both the Operations and Executive levels. Identify aspects of Edifecs products and services that these customers find of high value and those that they find of little or no value.
- Perform liaison functions between strategic customers and the various functional teams within Edifecs to ensure that customer requirements are well understood by relevant teams within Edifecs.
- Identify how product adoption can be improved by understanding the client’s business at the appropriate level and how Edifecs products can map to those identified needs.
- Understand Edifecs clients’ business well enough to determine if Edifecs products can be utilized to address new business problems, thereby increasing revenue to Edifecs and enhancing customer ROI.
- To understand, assess and provide advice regarding future business initiatives planned by the customer in the upcoming 12-24 months.
- To understand the key challenges that our clients face today and recognize how to map them to industry and Edifecs solutions.
REQUIRED SKILL SET
- Strong understanding of the Healthcare Industry, with specific experience in general regulatory compliance in the Payer Market Segment.
- Acute awareness of recent healthcare reform regulatory policy and its impact on the Payer Market Segment.
- 12-15 years enterprise software sales and/or executive account management with proven client relationship skills at the highest levels within customer organizations.
- Proven revenue attainment history in selling enterprise software solutions.
- Strong analytic ability to assess customer needs and map them to the Edifecs product set.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Significant track record of proven leadership abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently across multi-disciplinary teams with high level of uncertainty.
- Organized, self-motivated, hard-working problem-solver who is able to identify and define appropriate objectives and work independently toward achieving those objectives.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software systems and their applicability in the Health Industry.
- Computer skills competency including MS-Office suite and SalesForce.com.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
