JOB DESCRIPTION

A well established Asian private bank is looking to add relationship managers and private bankers to the leading Chinese platform division in Shanghai. They are interested in speaking to individuals with a onshore client portfolio or network originating within Greater China

The role:

• To act as a point of contact and build long-term relationships with Chinese originating HNW and UHNW clients.

• Increase assets under management in a competitive environment that involves extensive client development, prospecting, networking and consultative selling.

• Execute private banking client services and work closely with advisors to give sophisticated financial advice across a range of products and asset classes.

• To advise on tailor-made solutions to meet clients’ requirements and collaborate with the product development unit in the creation of wealth planning solutions.

• To maximise the acquisition and retention of clients by the bank and to work closely with the business development team to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal management skills.

• 5 years experience coupled with a strong knowledge of the local wealth management industry.

• Able to work to clearly defined annual revenue targets with an ability to deliver results

• Strong client acquisition and business development skills

• Established portfolio or network of contacts.
