Job Description
This exciting role, reporting to the Director of Business Development at DC Gardner Training, will encompass all aspects of the business cycle on behalf of our products:
- Initial cold calls to potential clients
- Meetings with potential clients, typically line managers or Heads of Training in banks
- Initial written proposals
- Trainer liaison
- Negotiation of terms and conditions with clients
- Client liaison regarding tailoring of courses and organisation of logistics
The performance of the new Client Manager will be measured by the volume of sales generated. It is expected that this person should sell 400K of training during the first year and 600K of training per annum in the following years.
Person Description
This is an important hire for our business and the individual concerned must demonstrate the following characteristics:
- Ability to orchestrate complex proposals and course outlines predominantly for clients in the Financial Services sector
- Charm, poise and professionalism, both on the telephone and in face-to-face meetings
- Ideally, a strong record in generating revenue through sales on behalf of previous organisations that he/she has worked for
- A solid understanding of the banking and financial sector, ideally through a work experience in the banking sector
- Willingness to travel
- Arabic language skills would be an advantage
