Client Reporting Associate
Acadian Asset Management LLC is a Boston-headquartered investment management firm with wholly owned affiliates located in Singapore and London. As of March 31, 2013, the firm managed approximately US$57 billion on behalf of major pension funds, endowments, foundations, governments and other investors based in the U.S. and abroad.
Position Overview:
This role works within the Client Reporting team to ensure the prompt and accurate dissemination of all client reporting. As a member of the Client Service Department, the Client Reporting Associate will work with members of Client Service, Communications, Compliance, Operations, Corporate Finance and the Investment Team to ensure client deliverables are met in a timely and accurate fashion. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of client reporting, performance and analytics, good project management abilities, a strong deadline orientation and high attention to quality.
Responsibilities:
Produce, review and distribute client reporting. Specific responsibilities include:
- Understand the reporting needs of each client
- Work closely with team members and other internal groups to track deliverables, to gather reporting information, and to assemble and distribute reporting packages
- Handle routine communications with the client
- Coordinate data for client requests
- Assist with requests from custodians, consultants and clients
- Work closely with team members to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; pursuit of a graduate degree and/or CFA a plus
- At least three years of experience in the investment management industry including client reporting or related client services role
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong service orientation and interest in client service
- Proven ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of MS Excel is required
- Working knowledge of SQL, portfolio analytics or client reporting software, a plus
