Client Service Manager (Reinsurer) recruitment

It specialises in providing reinsurance solutions for large and complex risks across business lines of aviation, casualty, credit surety, energy, engineering, medical, marine, motor and property.

They require a client service manager (reporting to the Head of Client Services) to manage the relationship with selected Strategic Core Clients in the APAC regions.

Responsibilities of the role are

Work in partnership with clients in order to gain an understanding of their requirements, with the aim of identifying further business opportunities

Establish timely and quality services to his/her responsible clients by engaging underwriters and working closely with them

Ensure delivery of strategic initiatives, training and other services to clients

Establish and maintain regular contacts with line underwriters of strategic and core clients in order to gain an in-depth understanding of client’s portfolio and reinsurance needs

To monitor the client profile and needs closely and timely communicate the information internally especially to underwriters

 Work with underwriters on the closure of business and assist clients achieve their risk management and business goals

Requirements of you !

• Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing or client management position in the  reinsurance industry; preferably with regional exposure

• Strong relationship management with interpersonal skills

• Balances client focus with Entrepreneurial mindset- understands and be responsive to needs while has ‘eye’ for potential business opportunities.

• Results driven

• Excellent written, oral and presentation communication abilities

• Expertise with Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

• Possesses good knowledge of the risk landscape in the underlying industries as well as familiarity with the markets, the distribution system and of the key players.

• Ability to work in a multi- disciplinary team; confidence to operate on one’s own in designated territory.

• Degree holder (Business; Marketing; Economics) and / or ACII qualification or equivalent; otherwise candidates with relevant experience and proven track record may also be considered.
