This global technology group is responsible for developing and implementing cutting edge hardware and software ensuring that the core systems can process trades, assess risk and deliver massive amounts of data.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work directly with Traders in understanding business language and workflow so deliverables are easily relayed to development and product management teams
- Handle Trading Floor IT-related user requests, perform investigation, resolve and coordinate resolution of issues
- Become fully conversant with all support tools, end to end application workflow, and escalation procedures
In order to qualify:
- Business knowledge of Fixed Income products and Derivatives (Bonds, CDS, etc.)
- Analysts experienced with FX (pricing and trading), Equities, Commodities, and Futures also need apply
- Technology skills a must: SQL and UNIX/Linux commands, Java, Oracle
- Scripting experience a plus but not mandatory
- A Bachelor’s degree or advanced
