Client Services Supervisor
Client Services is a division of Group Property that manages all aspects of the property life cycle for bank tenanted and owned buildings. There is a need for 'on-site' delivery of client services to form part of the bank's Melbourne CBD property strategy and new Client Services offering. This will ensure a higher level of customer service and responsiveness to business units occupying Melbourne CBD buildings.
The purpose of the role is to assist with all Events on the client floor, including assisting the Reception and Boardroom staff team. To have a proactive, accountable approach and commitment to deliver customer service excellence in a corporate environment within CBA client services Melbourne while contributing and building a solid team culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
- The role will assist in overseeing the Client Services operation, including general meeting requests, boardroom and event management, reception, boardroom staff and all event related activities on the client floor
- Implement and review standard operating procedures in order to maintain continuous improvement
- Promote a one team approach across the team to ensure maximum collaboration and effective communication
- Provide ongoing support and training
- Delegate responsibilities across the team to maximize business efficiencies
- Recruit and train new employees when required
- Be the primary contact point for all meeting room and catering requests when required
- Be the primary contact point for all event related activities on the client floor when required. Provide proactive not reactive customer service advice.
- Contacting the meeting host to discuss rescheduling options when capacity is reached or we are unable to accommodate a request
- Managing customer expectations and maintaining high customer service levels.
- Handling customer complaints and providing suitable outcomes.
- Building relationships with our customers and clients.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of senior executives and high profile clients.
- Work closely with catering vendors to ensure transparency between front and back of house.
- Minimise wastage and identify cost saving initiatives without compromising service levels

To be successful in this role the person will need to possess the following skills:
- A proven background in Events and Boardroom operations
- A proven background in hospitality and high volume customer facing roles
- Highly effective communication skills
- Works well in a team environment and actively participates in team discussions
- Displays a positive hands-on approach to the role with a strong desire to succeed
- An ability to systemise, implement and enforce procedures
- Displays a passion for superior customer service and an attention to detail
- The ability to forge lasting relationships with key stakeholders within the bank
