Client System Analyst 2

HOURS: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday - Friday
DUTIES:
We are searching for an energetic self-motivated person who has a passion for working with end-user hardware and software, and who can help the business leverage technology to optimize performance and create a competitive advantage. Strong technical and organizational skills are keys to this position as you work with business partners, vendors, and the IT team to proactively manage all client-related technologies. Duties include: lead technical resource for the research, deployment, training, lifecycle management, and use of all client-related technologies. Provide second-level support for PC hardware, software, printers, peripherals and mobile devices. QUALIFICATIONS:
Desired minimum qualifications include:
· Bachelor degree plus 7 years experience in a technology support position
· Must be very organized and have superior customer service skills
· ITIL Foundation Certification
· Above average analytical and problem solving skills
· Above average verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work flexible hours on short notice
· Ability to set short and long range plans and adjust direction and priorities as needed
· Must have a working knowledge of various client technologies, which may include but are not limited to:
ü Desktop and laptop hardware and operating systems
ü Microsoft Office and SharePoint
ü Group Policies and Active Directory structure and security
ü Software Distribution and workstation management solutions
ü Client and network-based software applications
ü Desktop Virtualization and remote access/VPN technologies
ü Mitel VoIP systems and applications, Unified Communications
ü Telecommunications technologies and industry trends
ü Local, long distance, wireless calling plans and telecom/datacom circuits
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Proactively manage client related technologies to help maximize the value to the business
· Second tier support of PC hardware software, phones, printers and other computer related equipment
· Make recommendations for technology related equipment and software purchases
· Assist business partners with planning and budgeting technology lifecycles for hardware and software upgrades
· Ensure adequate virus protection on all technology assets
· Ensure software installations on company PC’s have prior approval
· Ensure software use is compliant with manufacturer’s license agreements
· Report and address any use of software that goes against company policies
· Work with outside vendors to resolve issues
· Manage vendor provided services and contracts
· Provide mentoring and backup for other team members
