Clinical Instrument Repair Consultant (CIRC) Job in Nashville, Tennessee Us

Spectrum Surgical Instruments Corp. manufactures surgical instrumentation and provides a full range of instrument repair capabilities, instrument care products and accessories. Headquartered in Stow, Ohio, the company has become a leader in the healthcare equipment and service industry.

We are currently seeking a mechanically inclined individual to successfully repair delicate surgical instrumentation in the Nashville, TN area. This individual must be willing to relocate to another state if needed. Welding and mechanical skills are a plus but not a requirement. New hires will begin in our extensive training program where they will undergo a training program. This position will provide repair services to customers along with the following essential functions.

Core Job Competencies:

· Communication skills, including verbal, listening, written and training presentation

· PC knowledge (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint)

· Knowledge of repair work process(s) and procedures

· Eye/hand coordination for detailed work

· Knowledge of working with small hand tools and light power tools

· Leadership skills in guiding individual and group tasks toward work and goal achievement

· Interpersonal skills, including dealing with customers and internal company personnel; handling conflict situations effectively and relating sensitively to others

Job Conditions and Requirements:

· Normal day work hours with some Saturday work and overnight travel

· Drive repair vehicle and use small hand tools and light power tools

· Valid drivers’ license

· Majority of work environment is at hospital locations and frequent on-the-road travel

· Willing to relocate

· Maintain required Hepatitis B vaccinations

· Maintain required annual Tuberculosis vaccination

· Complete DOT Preplacement examination
