If you're an analyst from a clinical or laboratory environment with experience of conducting clinical diagnostic screening tests, this is a superb opportunity to join a company offering excellent prospects.
As a Clinical Laboratory Analyst, you'll be responsible for conducting both routine clinical diagnostic tests and drugs of abuse screening and confirmatory tests.
Your duties will include:
- Performing various analytical procedures, including manual screening and automated methods
- Preparing and handling samples and diagnostic reagents
- Operating various automated analytical systems
- Interpreting analytical data
- Preparing test reports
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- Experience in an analytical role working in a clinical and/or laboratory environment, including conducting clinical diagnostic screening tests
- A degree in a relevant discipline, such as biochemistry, chemistry, immunology or life science
As a Clinical Laboratory Analyst, you must have excellent client-facing skills and an outstanding attention to detail. You'll also have a good level of IT literacy, including proficiency using MS packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
A working knowledge of quality systems would be beneficial, as would an understanding of HS, including COSHH.
