We currently have an exciting contract opportunity for a Clinical Research Specialist for our client located in Mounds View, MN. Job Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Assists with successful conduct of assigned studies consistent with RD and Marketing plans. Assists in preparation of study materials and training of investigators, center staff and Medtronic field staff. Reviews clinical data/information and oversees data correction. Reviews and approves center activation documents. Work with the Clinical Study Manager to satisfy applicable regulatory standards. This role will assist Customer Specialists by providing document and miscellaneous research support, troubleshooting and site data preparation as requested. Require strong system expertise (CTMS, Oracle Clinical, DataFax, Documentum). Quick learner/master of technical systems. Strong aptitude for systems, learns quickly, applies learning, works independently. Clear communication, problem solving skills. Requires a team attitude and customer focus. This position will interact with internal, and possibly external customers. The primary responsibility of this position will be heavily weighted to the data system maintenance (filing/linking documents into electronic systems) but also other data preparation requests at the direction of the Customer Specialists to expedite the work done within this team. Initiation Review documents (with oversight by customer specialist) and import into Department Docs and link them in CTMS. Assist with other CTMS maintenance work Prep activation checklists. Assist in getting studies up-and-running: Develop template binders and documents. Proactively review list of outstanding documents and work with customer specialists to collect these documents. Help gather metrics for nomination/selection. Execution MAI assistance ? investigate/find documents Assist with IRB maintenance work. Requirements: Minimum Bachelors Degree required. 1-5 years experience in clinical/Pharma field but desires 5 plus years. Experience in Oracle and Datafax (not required, but makes up for years of experience if under 5) desired.
