Clinical Support Facilitator

We are currently seeking a Clinical Support Facilitator to play a key role in the project management and implementation of EpicCare, the clinical electronic medical record system component of Epic. Reporting to the Assist Director, Epic Operations Clinical Support, you will be part of a dynamic administrative team that manages the implementation of Epic to the NYU Faculty Group Practice and Voluntary MDs and provides clinical staff and Physicians with the support needed to function effectively in this system. Responsibilities include providing pre post implementation support to clinicians, coordinating the Physician Adoption Strategy, gathering and documenting clinical practice data, evaluating workflows and helping develop training curriculum for users of EpicCare clinical applications. You will ensure that system users are proficient in the operational use of EpicCare during implementation and after deployment.
This is a unique opportunity for an individual interested in advancing their career to Administrative/Management-level practice. Qualified applicants will have 3-5 years' experience in an inpatient/ambulatory medical environment and/or in physician practice management (familiarity with the medical/healthcare culture is crucial); thorough knowledge of clinical operations; MSW, MPH, MHA or RN credentials (applicants with RN credentials must also have a Bachelor's Degree). Previous Epic experience and program development/management experience is desirable. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, teaching and problem-solving skills are essential to success. Preferred applicants will have experience presenting to both individuals and groups. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is a plus, but since training is provided, it is not required.
