C++/Linux Engineer – Technology Start
Newly formed “Start-Up” within a Global Technology firm is seeking a C++/Linux Engineer to assist in the development of a revolutionary product for the Investment Banking community worldwide.
The tools and analytics being built will be utilized for idea generation within the areas of debt financing, Equity Financing and Mergers Acquisitions.
The candidate will work with business managers, sales and other RD teams, taking ownership of portions of the product suite while managing the entire software development cycle including system design, development, testing, deployment and system maintenance.
This is a golden opportunity to create a product that will influence and affect the markets worldwide.
Additionally, the client is also able to guarantee bonuses for 2013! This is a Fulltime opportunity located in NYC.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of hands-on commercial development experience using C++/Linux/Unix
- Passion for building robust software applications
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Strong interest in building user interfaces for client facing applications
- BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Physics (or equivalent experience).
NOTE: Full relocation as well as H1-B transfers/GC processing is also available for applicable applicants.
