CNC Setup and Operators 2nd Job in Lexington 29071, South Carolina Us

Aerotek Commercial Staffing is currently accepting candidates for a CNC Setup Position. This position offers competitive pay and full benefits.

CNC Setup/Operator will:
-Independently set up or operate assigned CNC mills and/or CNC lathes (including Swiss-style CNC and conventional twin-spindle CNC lathes) from start to finish including the loading and unloading of programs and fixture changes.
-Troubleshoot production problems and take corrective action.
-Work from manufacturing process sheets to assure parts are produced to proper quality standards within time allowances.
-Utilize statistical process control (SPC) equipment, as well as other gages to insure the process is under control at all times.
-Perform and monitor first piece inspections.
-Accomplish work assignments with minimal or no supervision.
-Use considerable judgment to plan and perform unusual or difficult assignments
-Possess appreciable problem solving skills while addressing multiple variables.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Associate's degree in manufacturing technology or high school diploma (or GED) and equivalent years of experience.
-At least 2-5 years of CNC machinist/set up experience coupled with the ability to set up and operate dual spindle lathes.
-Proficient in blueprint reading, SPC, and metrology.
-Successful completion of a written skills analysis.
