Established for 35 years, our client is now one of the largest privately owned gear manufacturing companies in the UK. An opportunity has now arisen for a CNC Turner / CNC Programmer / Setter Operator to join their team.
If you're a hands-on, enthusiastic engineer with experience of using CNC machines, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company. With rapid expansion plans in place, our client offers plenty of development opportunities for talented employees.
As a CNC Turner / CNC Programmer / Setter Operator, you will work on various modern multi-functional CNC lathes with Fanuc/Mazatrol controls. As you will be working on a variety of projects, good multitasking skills are essential.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Experience of turning, programming and setting CNC machines
- Experience of using CNC lathes with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
- Broad engineering experience
Additionally, as a CNC Turner / CNC Programmer / Setter Operator, you must be self-motivated, able to problem solve and be comfortable working alone.
Experience in CAD and/or CAM would be beneficial to your application.
