COLL Officer recruitment
A leading Independent Investment Manager have a requirement for a COLL Officer to join their existing team in Glasgow
With 11 offices across the UK they are focused on delivering stockbroking and investment management services to private investors, charities, trusts and institutions. They have a strong presence in Glasgow and have over the last 3 years transitioned back office operations from their London offices which will continue in 2012.
Reporting directly to the Risk Oversight Operations Manager the team are responsible for the monitoring of compliance of fund Investments in accordance with FSA COLL Regulations.
The position is focused around FSA COLL Regulations and ensuring the, daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of compliance of funds, updating COLL monitoring procedures in line with FSA regulations, report all COLL breaches in the Compliance database, review pre-trade documentation from investment managers ensuring compliance with COLL, and ongoing relationship building with investment managers, compliance and depositories/trustees
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FSA COLL Regulations coupled with excellent communication skills, the ability to challenge, problem solve and have strong attention to detail
