The Role...
You will ensure a consistent and high quality execution of the collection strategy through the leading, motivation, coaching and development of the Collections Team and advisor population.

What's the role?
• Lead, coach and performance manage all direct reports, providing regular feedback /coaching to ensure their maximum potential is achieved.
• In the way you lead on a daily basis, be a role model for your people – doing things wholeheartedly, communicating with passion and enthusiasm, embracing change as a way of working
• Ensure that the quality of execution delivered by the Collections team fully meets the needs of internal / external customers
• Monitor, coach and support Collection Management Team in technical / product/ strategy knowledge, skills and behavioral competencies to enable them to perform to their full potential
• Plan and prioritise the deployment of staff resources across Collections to maximise operational performance and maintain agility to respond quickly to changes in strategies as determined by portfolio performance and mix
• Manage the delivery of test and learn environment thus ensuring that strategies will maximise value

Boxes to tick
• Experience of leading people, driving change and delivering against challenging targets within a collections operational environment
• Proven track record of resource management including budgets, people and premises in an operational area
• Proven experience of team leadership and motivation at all levels including situations involving conflict or negotiation in order to resolve issues
• Successful at influencing strategic thinking through to policy, planning and delivery.
• Contact Centre Management experience gained preferably within a collections environment
