Collections Support Analyst Job
Responsible to the Tallyman Development and the Support Manager, this is a technical role with responsibility for both investigating problems and implementing a roadmap of changes to collections systems in an accurate and timely manner. It involves working closely with users, business leadership and team managers to identify, analyse and resolve issues, producing and agreeing technical designs, implementing and testing solutions and collaborating with partners and IT teams.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• To support the delivery of a robust, fit for purpose Tallyman solution that flexibly supports the collections function in its objectives.
• To deliver and maintain champion Challenger strategies, treatments paths and reporting to assist in the identification of the most effective collections strategies.
• To implement, maintain and improve robust data structures that fully support the delivery of all aspects of operational performance, at a portfolio and employee level.
• To create and maintain detailed reference documentation setting out the collections treatment paths and decisions.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required
• Expertise in MS office applications (Excel, Access, Visio)
• Understanding of technical infrastructure (networks, citrix, active directory)
• Understanding of software development practises and methodologies
Desirable
• Database development (stored procedures, triggers, cursors, exceptions)
• Previous experience of financial systems
• Knowledge of Java / JEE application architecture
This is a full time, permanent position located in St Mellons, South Wales. The salary being offered is between £21,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience.
