Commercial Analyst – 1 Year Contract
The Commodities Division within ABN AMRO finances trade flows (i.e. energy, agricultural and metals) from origin to destination. Our international Commodities Desks are located in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, New York, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai. The Singapore Commodities Desk seeks Commercial Analyst who can actively contribute to this goal.
Key responsibilities:
Assist Account Managers in the following areas:
- Manage and develop relationships with existing and new Commodities clients and their respective loan portfolio
- Deliver financial solutions to clients while improving the risk/return on the Commodity portfolios
- Perform credit due diligence, financial analysis, credit evaluation, structuring and negotiating of Facility Loan conditions
- Manage the Credit process including preparation of Credit Proposals to approval until final documentation
- Liaise and co-ordinate with relevant business and supporting units of the Bank.
- Prepare Know-Your-Customer (‘KYC’) Reports, Rating and Risk-Return Modeling
- Prepare Portfolio Statistics and Market Reports
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking/ Finance/ Accountancy or its equivalent
- Relevant banking or similar experience will be an advantage
- Fresh graduates with good aptitude will be considered.
- Excellent commercial and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral written) skills
- Professional in managing client’s responsibilities and flexible attitude towards the continuous changing needs of the clients
- Self-motivated, pro-active, eagerness to learn, strong personality and a good team player
- Willingness to travel
- Bilingual in both English and Mandarin
