FIG M&A Associate + VP for Tier 1 European Investment Bank recruitment
The bank is currently expanding its FIG MA team and is seeking strong bankers. The team execute deals across the FIG sectors and focuses on large cap transactions, with a strong pipeline going forward in 2012.
Our client is a European leader in banking and financial services, with a significant presence in the United States and leading positions in Asia. The group has a presence in over 50 countries.
Job Description
Associates and VPs carry out a wide variety of tasks; including financial statement analysis, financial modelling, company and industry research, and preparation of client presentations and deal memoranda in the context of execution of transactions across a wide range of sectors.
Skills and Experience
• The position requires a self-confident person who is a self-starter; highly motivated and reliable, with strong team spirit, well organised with good attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor or Master’s degree at 2:1 or above (or equivalent)
• Currently working in FIG MA for a leading Investment Bank or Boutique
• Strong technical / analytical / Excel skills
