Commercial Director - SME B2B Experience - £80k-120k

Salary: £80k-£120k + bonus + equity option + bens.
A fast-growing company at the forefront of their sector within financial services is seeking a driven and customer-focused Commercial Director to join their executive team. You will play a key role in optimising new business development, sales and client management strategy to ensure commercial success and client satisfaction.
Essential
-UK specific (and preferably Europe) business development and strategy development experience representing and/or selling into SMEs
-Proven record of driving and defining optimum B2B sales models and strategy, preferably within a regulated environment
-Demonstrable experience of successfully improving and managing organisational performance at an executive level position
-The ability to lead, influence, challenge and inspire both within the team but also cross functionality, as the role will require interacting and working in a collaborative way with Marketing, as well as Operations, Risk, Finance and IT
-Client Orientated - a role model for excellent client focus improvement
Desirable
-Experience in payment sector or complementary sector to payments such as retail distribution, mobile/telecoms operators, eCommerce, mCommerce, or sectors where success relied on effective engagement with other SMEs
-Acted as a commercially-driven senior manager in a fast growing SME or a business whose target market were to acquire and service SME clients
-Someone who is hands-on, not only managing strategy but also being heavily involved with the team and actively representing the company in a sales capacity
