As a Commercial Financial Business Partner working for a expanding FTSE 50 business, you will work closely with senior business leaders to develop our UK strategy. In fact, we rely upon them to advise us on the direction we should be moving. Our finance team is integrated into all areas of the business, from operations to marketing, and strategy to IT and we need people who can think outside the financial box.

WHAT RESPONSIBILITIES WILL I HAVE AS A COMMERCIAL FINANCIAL BUSINESS PARTNER?
Identifying key business areas to drive growth or cost saving opportunities
Driving the strategic agenda across the business for top line growth and profitability
Leading change activity in the business ensuring benefits are delivered
Challenging the business to deliver a budget based on continuous improvement
· Interpreting financial performance of the business, identifying risks and opportunities expertise
SO WHAT DO I NEED?
A professional financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
A track record of partnering with heads of business and senior stakeholders
The ability to be articulate, influential and insightful in analysing business information in complex business situations
The ability to draw out the key risks and opportunities, and to summarise these succinctly both verbally and in report format
A track record of driving continuous improvement in a fast-moving commercial sector
You could come from any of a range of backgrounds - perhaps you're a newly qualified ACA looking to make your first move to a more commercial role or an experienced business partner who wants to develop their career in a dynamic environment.
