Commercial Finance Manager
This FTSE 100 Technology, Media and Telecoms business is looking to recruit for a commercially focussed Finance Manager based in central London.
This opportunity sits within their Media/Entertainment division and will play a key role in the direction of this newly formed team. Reporting to the Commercial Financial Controller you will be responsible for all areas listed below:
Business Case Modelling - Cost/benefit analysis and “what if” scenarios
Investment Appraisal - Work with stakeholders to determine how we maximise returns and drive value from our content strategy. This role particularly looks at revenue opportunities around advertising, commercial businesses and wholesale growth.
Month-end Reporting - Timely delivery of financial/business information to key stakeholders, to help manage the performance of the area against planned or expected outcomes
Presentation and Business Partnering - Key to this role is communicating with departments, ensure the business case is kept up to date, departments are using budgets in the most efficient manner and to add value into the different aspects of product development. Due to the size of the project it is vital information is conveyed simply, accurately and quickly
The ideal candidate will have excellent academics and be qualified ACA or CIMA with industry experience from a large FTSE listed or equivalent business. They must have commercial experience and be able take commercial decisions and ownership of projects. This role will offer excellent progression but candidates must be strong communicators who can present to numerous senior stakeholders.
