Commercial Manager – Finance recruitment
This involves full year planning, quarterly forecasts and month to month trading. With previous experience in a similar role, it is imperative that you understand day-to-day performance in order to identify opportunities to maximise ROI.
Delivering world class commercial analysis, you will work closely with Finance, Customer Insights and the Retention Optimisation Manager to develop strategic initiatives to control spend while keeping an eye on customer churn.
The CVM team is responsible for base management, which includes base revenue, retention and the customer lifecycle communication programme. Its main objective is to improve the whole customer experience, which, ultimately, enhances customer retention.
So, as our retention expert, your key focus will be to retain a high margin of customers. As such, your role will be to develop our budget and quarterly planning cycles, manage the SRC budget in accordance with business needs, lead the development and analysis of base churn, and drive commercial analysis across Postpay Retention.
Highly numerate with extensive commercial knowledge, you will have a proven ability to interpret commercial and financial data. In turn, you will know how to take this data and apply it to a strategic plan that you will present to senior stakeholders across the business.
With expertise in economic/financial (spreadsheet) modelling, you will also have a track record of being responsible for a key commercial performance driver within a blue chip company. It would also be advantageous if you are CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified.
