This newly created role will play a critical position within our Victoria Harbour Project, where the successful individual will play a major role in influencing commercial and strategic financial outcomes across the project. The Commercial Manager – Victoria Harbour is responsible for managing the finance function for the Victoria Harbour Project. This role will be accountable for achieving the appropriate commercial, accounting, tax, treasury and risk management outcomes for the project. This challenging role will also require you to lead, mentor and manage the performance of the project finance team.
This role works collaboratively across multiple business units, requiring you to consult with the project teams and the broader Lend Lease Group making commercial recommendations to assist with the creation of value, mitigating risks and achieving commercial targets. You will also review current operational processes and procedures with a view to implement improvements in cost control and reporting.
The successful applicant will be able to balance a strategic view with a strong focus on results, whilst maintaining an approachable, professional and positive disposition. The position requires CA/CPA qualifications and significant experience in delivering major property development projects. Key to your success will be both your technical and communications skills along with the ability to work in a hands-on capacity whilst maintaining a strategic view. Excellent financial modelling skills and ability to interpret and analyse data is essential.
