Commercial Manager- Gas APAC
We are currently working with a leading logistics service provider engaged in the
transport of bulk liquids and gasses. They are based in Singapore and looking for an experienced commercial manager to build and expand on their gas division.

Key Responsibilitie
Creating new gas business in his/her region
Is budget responsible for his region including profit and loss on gas activities
Works along the lines of an approved business plan initiated by the business development manager him/herself
Advises on required equipments and infrastructure (depots, repair stations etc)
Maps the region in terms of potential customers and knows DMU structure at these customersCreates offers, quotes and works out logistical solutions for customersIs responsible for operational follow up in cooperation with the OPS teams in the world
Creates long lasting partnerships and relationships with customers
Has a long term vision
Puts quality and safety first in his/her thing and selling
Is responsible for the administration towards his/her account where it comes to system update, extra costs including demurrage, fuel and bunker surcharges, and price changes
Reports on monthly basis developments, turnover, margins, exceptions
Checks with credit control for prompt and accurate payments of his customers
Key Requirements
Education and experienceUniversity level with proven business administration and logistics knowledge
Analytical
Knowledge of global logistics, gas products industry
At least 5 years of experience in a demanding commercial environment
Fluent in Chinese and English in speech and writing (to liaise with Chinese speaking associates) Extensive travelling of more than 50% of the time is part of the job
Strong entrepreneurial skills
Independent attitude but not a loner
