Our client is a project management and construction business with a strong presence across the globe. Currently experiencing a phase of significant growth the business is now looking to add to its highly talented and versatile team.

Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, this critical role will see you responsible for the following;

• Management of a range of significant commercial issues and negotiations
• Provide guidance and leadership to the contracts, procurement, project, logistics and bid teams
• Identify and manage commercial risk and implement cost-effective strategies to take the commercial team forward
• Prepare and deliver a commercial management plan to ensure smooth running of a range of projects and business operations
• Manage a significant procurement spend whilst identifying cost saving strategies through effective supplier sourcing and contracts management

Furthermore you will manage a team of up to 6 direct reports and 20 indirect reports.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally degree qualified, you will demonstrate extensive commercial experience including managing a medium to large sized team. You will have a broad skill set with a particular focus on Procurement, Commercial Management, delivering strategic outcomes and implementing cost saving methodology across a range of commercial business activities.
