Commissions Operations Manager recruitment

We are currently seeking a motivated and capable Commissions Operations Manager to join the team that manages the allocation, calculation and reporting of financial adviser commissions.
You will be reporting directly to the National Commissions Manager and be responsible for:
- Manage and supervise a high performing team of three people and support the National Commissions Mgr;
- Analysis of revenue and commission payments to the financial advisors across the ANZ region;
- Liaison on a daily basis with advisers and business management to resolve any commission issues and queries;
- The team meeting tight deadlines in the preparation of the allocation of commission's revenue and reporting;
- Reviewing output produced by the team for quality control.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience within the financial services industry with a retail equities background is essential for this position;
- Demonstrated capability in coaching and leading teams is desirable;
- The capacity and motivation to work in a processing environment with high volumes under pressure within tight deadlines;
- Excellent client service focus and strong professional and commercial acumen;
- A high level of numeracy coupled with advanced excel skills (pivot tables, look-ups, modelling required) and a strong attention to detail
- Sound data and information analysis skills;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Strong time management and organisation skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Degree qualification in commerce, accounting, finance or mathematics or Kaplan studies is desirable.
