Commodities Business Partner recruitment
The performance reporting teams are a key support layer for Executive management, front office, support functions and subsidiaries of the group.
Key responsibilities include:
• Business Partner for Oil and LPG Business
• Demonstrate commercial knowledge and expertise to the business in providing advice and answering finance related queries.
• Controlling of gross margin accounting for the group’s Oil, Clean Energy and LPG businesses, including review of MTM and adjustments to IFRS.
• Completion of technical accounting operational readiness for the business with review performed by the Technical Accounting Manager.
• Reporting of monthly and YTD financial results
• Performance reporting against plan
• Key performance indicators
• Project cost reporting
The successful candidate will need to be
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with energy industry experience a significant advantage;
- Strong technical accounting knowledge including accounting for derivatives and IAS39
• Fluent in languages would be an advantage
• Experience with SAP would be an advantage;
