Commodities Modelling and Valuation Manager for Industry-Leading Energy-Focussed Consultancy
My client is an industry-leading energy-focussed consultancy based in Central London that is looking to hire an experienced Manager within the Metals and Mining Team to help develop and grow the business and the team’s offerings on a global scale.
The role involves maintaining and enhancing the long term sustainable revenue, developing key client relationships and supporting the division’s analysts and consultants by developing their modelling and valuation knowledge. The role will also require exceptional communication skills as this person will need to work closely and liaise with several internal stakeholders at all levels.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Work with the Head of Valuation and the Metals Mining Research Team to develop the company’s offering in the Metals and Mining sector.
- Ensure that the Fiscal Models for Coal, Iron Ore and Metals are of a high quality. Ensure that processes are in place to maintain and enhance quality and support the delivery of the Fiscal Models and the divisions’ software
- Management of Model Development projects by understanding client needs, maintenance of enhancement lists, prioritisation of requests, development of internal business cases and project management of development projects
- Identify key targets for sales and work with client managers to assist in promoting sales across the world.
- Work with marketing to ensure maximum impact of marketing literature and campaigns.
- Provide valuation support and training for internal and external clients.
Required:
- The role demands strong valuation skills and the ability to make senior level presentations
- The candidate should also demonstrate the strong project management skills
- The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of the metals and mining industry, and extensive experience in a commercial/ valuation role
On offer: £60,000-£65,000 basic salary + bonus and benefits
