Commodities Product Controller recruitment
An opening has arisen on the commodities product control desk of this successful banking organisation. It enjoys exposure to a variety of traded products that include: oil, electricity, metals (base and precious), grain, and emissions trading. This is a significant trading desk for the bank and it will offer the successful candidate a fascinating insight into a diverse and growing revenue generating business unit (BU). You will report on the BU’s trading activities and also partner with the desk to provide valuable commentary and commercial insight into their profit and loss. It is highly desirable that you have an active interest in financial markets and enjoy working closely with others to solve problems and offer solutions. To be considered for this role you must have at least two-three years product control experience and, ideally, hold a CA/CPA qualification. You will be outgoing and possess a positive, can-do attitude and have strong Excel skills.
