Commodities Quantitative Developer recruitment
Bloomberg's Quantitative Development group is seeking candidates with a strong quant development background and experience in Commodities modeling. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting pricing models for derivatives, exotics and hybrid products. These models will be used on the Bloomberg Professional terminal. The Quantitative Development group sits within the core product strategy team for the Bloomberg Professional and is a cross-asset group.
Responsibilities include:
- Research, implement and maintain commodities pricing models .
- Work closely with product development through the full development cycle, from the product initial specification to final delivery to clients.
- Work with application developers on integration and testing.
Qualifications:
-PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Finance or related field
-Hands-on experience in C/C++ Quantitative Development
-Strong software engineering skills in a multi-platform, multi-programmer environment
-Must have hands on and demonstrated experience in Commodities modeling
-Deep understanding of Commodities products
-Solid understanding of Derivatives/Hybrid markets.
-Knowledge of asset classes outside of Commodities is a plus
-Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
