A major market leader within the physical commodities trading industry is seeking an experienced professional to join their US Energy Risk Team. This trade floor based opportunity will cover the calculation and analysis of physical commodities with a focus on oil and oil curves. You will be working extensively with trade risk managers and you will be responsible for the pricing of data, market analysis, and will manage regular projects for the oil risk business.
The experience and skills required for this position include;
- 3-6 years commodities experience within a reputable financial institution
- Knowledge and interest in physical commodities markets (oil knowledge preferred)
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of VBA excel
- An excellent communicator who is able to perform within a trade floor environment and when working with senior management and traders.
