A leading player in the US Structured Commodity Finance scene is looking to grow the team following an impressive start to the year. This is a very attractive position for a leading Assistant Vice President or Vice President or to join a top structured commodity finance team covering US clients.
The Role
• Join a market leading US focused commodity finance team
• Taking a senior role on the desk you will work across predominantly oil, gas, metals and agriculture - originating, structuring and executing innovative financings for clients
• You will work closely with the MD and head of desk to build out this business and will travel regularly throughout the US and also liaise with the bank’s local commodity finance colleagues
• Opportunity to develop skills, working alongside the top professionals in the industry.
The Candidate
• Essential to have a strong background and track record in structured commodity finance/ trade finance for US clients
• My client only has one headcount for a senior analyst / associate and is looking to hire this person as soon as possible.
• Looking to hire a candidate from an investment or corporate bank who has an established structured commodity finance business
• My client is looking to hire a strong performer with good relationships with commodity producers/ traders in the US
• The client is only willing to see candidates with the highest pedigree’s in relation to both academics and career trajectory to date.
