A US Investment bank is expanding their commodities team with an experienced strategist hire in NYC. The team currently seeks an experienced strategist with a focus on Natural Gas. The group trades commodities across the entire spectrum so broader experience is beneficial although indepth knowledge of gas markets essential.
Responsibilites.
Fundamental research of natural gas markets
Creating of short and long term trading strategies for the trading desk based on own research
Publishing internal reports on natural gas market movements
Ad hoc client meetings
Requirements.
Five years minimum experience in natural gas research and strategy (fundamental /macro perspective)
In-depth knowledge of fundamental drivers of natural gas markets affecting demand supply etc
Ability to work in a fast paced environment taking into account short term and long term movements in wider industry effecting Natural Gas
