Position Description:
ROLE OF THE COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE
The Communications Associate position functions as part of the Client Servicing / Marketing team, a core component of PIMCO's Communications group, which develops internal and external communications for the company. Associates work closely with Account Management to create customized print and PowerPoint presentation materials for use in client and prospect meetings. Responsibilities include creating and updating materials from an array of database sources.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
• PIMCO's Account Managers and Product Managers
• PIMCO's Global Offices and various internal departments
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create customized client-servicing and prospect presentations
• Update and maintain PIMCO strategy storyboards
• Gather data using various internal and external applications.
Position Requirements:
• Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint is required
• Strong analytical skills and graphic design fundamentals
• Strong understanding of financial markets with 2-3 years of related work experience
• Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, organization and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines is critical
• Must have a good work ethic and follow-up skills
• Team player who is equally comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Clear understanding and commitment to PIMCO's culture, values and approach
